Celebrate International Free RPG Day 2022

Free RPG Day at All Rolled Up July 23rd 2022
Free RPG Day UK 23rd July 2022

All Rolled Up is excited to participate in this years Free RPG Day—the international version—on Saturday, 23rd July. We will be holding it in store at All Rolled Up Vernon Mill 3rd Floor B7 Unit 3 Mersey St Stockport SK1 2HX. It starts at 9am and finished 6.30pm

We’re running a selection of face-to-face Role Playing Games scheduled on Warhorn https://warhorn.net/events/all-rolled-up-free-rpg-day which are free to play. You will also be able to shop and browse our All Rolled Up accessories and RPGs. We will have the Free RPG Day products. You can pick one up for free with any purchase of £5 or more in store—and maybe more depending on attendance level, interest and stock. We want everyone to have the chance to grab something.

We will have two Free RPG Day boxes, available to GMs and Attendees of the event, from 2021 and 2022 to choose from so if you missed out last year, here’s your chance to pick them up.

Organized Tabletop: Games hosted and sign up will be done pre-event. There are limited spaces for players across a selection of games, and we can take a reserve list if needed.  We ask that GMs and players who commit to the event make every effort to show up on time. If for some reason you can’t, then please try to give us as much advance notice as possible to allow others to join in. As a bonus for running games, GMs get 10% off store wide from the All Rolled Up shop.

Refreshments: We will also have tea, coffee and squash throughout the day—all we ask is that you drop a nominal amount into a cup. We will also have cans of drink, bottles of water, snacks and biscuits for sale. You can bring your own and we also have free water bottle refills. There are plenty of places nearby within walking distance — you can get lunch or bring your own.

Transport and Travel: There is Free Parking on site but it can be a bit of a challenge to get, depending on the time of day. There is plenty of free street parking around the mill or around the corner on New Bridge Lane. Else, you can park across the road at the Peel Shopping Centre for a fee. The Mill is literally right off Junction 1 of the M60, next to the Portwood Roundabout.

Buses run into Stockport and it’s about a 20 minute walk from the Stockport Bus station to Vernon Mill. There are also buses that run to Portwood Street and Tescos, across the road, for a shorter walk.

Stockport Railway station is also a 25 minute walk to the Mill. There are also buses that run there to Vernon Mill

Accessibility: Three flights of stairs up to the floor, from either entrance – though the stairs on the good entrance end are steep stairs compared with the ones at the main entrance end. We do have a goods lift, however it’s sometimes can be hard to access. I’d be happy to arrange to get anyone up with disabilities, however once on the 3rd floor there is ample easy access to the unit. There are toilets on site on the third floor as well as the 4th floor. I will provide soap and TP and paper towels for use of the facilities (as they are shared with other units of the floor).

Covid Precautions: We have anti-viral hand gel, available as you enter the unit, and hand washing facilities at a sink. The Unit has five metre ceilings and windows, offering good circulation. We will have windows open throughout the day as well as fans oscillating to move the air about. We don’t expect you to wear a mask while playing but we won’t discourage it if you want to. We will have free disposable face mask available to give out if you require one or else you can also buy one of our lovely handcrafted ARU ones.

Hope to see you there and if you have any questions, drop us line

Paul, Fil and David
